WiDS Next Gen strives to inspire secondary female students to take relevant courses and consider future careers involving data science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other related areas. We particularly encourage younger women and girls to consider these STEM fields by showing examples of successful women in technology roles. In addition, we strive to impress on all students that diversity and inclusion are extremely important. WiDS Next Gen emphasizes real-world applications and data science’s societal and environmental impact.
This event will be in collaboration with the Women in Data Science (WiDS) Next Gen initiative at Stanford University. The event is aligned with the Saudi Vision 2030; SDGs, especially SDG 5; and the WiDS Next Gen program at Stanford University.

Welcome to PSU Women in Data Science(WiDS) – Next GEN Program organized by Prince Sultan University (PSU) in collaboration with Stanford University.
Introduction:
WiDS Next Gen strives to inspire secondary female students to take relevant courses and consider future careers involving data science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other related areas.
We particularly encourage younger women and girls to consider these STEM fields by showing examples of successful women in technology roles. In addition, we strive to impress all students that diversity and inclusion are extremely important.
WiDS for high schools emphasizes real-world applications and data science’s societal and environmental impact.
This event will be in collaboration with the Women in Data Science (WiDS) Next Gen initiative at Stanford University. The event is aligned with the Saudi Vision 2030; SDGs, especially SDG 5; and the WiDS Next Gen program at Stanford University.
The Data Science Club has initiated it under the supervision of AIDA Lab.
Goal:
The project’s main goal is to raise awareness of AI and Data Science among the schools and equip the students and instructors with data science, AI and Cybersecurity skills.
Objectives:
- To encourage and motivate the school students in the Data Science field.
- An opportunity to promote full and equal access to AI and Data Science resources.
- To provide a tech platform to school students and instructors.
